Planning your training

The IAMQS follows a modular structure and enables a more flexible and tailor-made training. It is structured in Competence Units (CU) comprehending a set of knowledge and skills organized in learning outcomes that can be individually taught, assessed and validated.

The Competence Units and recommended teaching hours for each CU are described in Section 10 below.

All the courses are approved to be through the Standard Route.

Voices from our Welding Community

Skilline has got more than 100k positive ratings from our users around the world. Some of the students and teachers were greatly helped by the Skilline.

For each Competence Unit, we recommend that you spend as much time studying outside of the classroom as you do in the classroom. We strongly advise you to read the course notes which are provided before beginning your course. The course notes are provided on the condition that payment has been made on each competence unit.

Examination papers of all the Competence Units (CUs) will be multiple choice and are generated from the Harmonized Exam paper database. Successful candidates will be issued a Record of Achievement (RoA) for each CU and those passing all the CUs in each course will be awarded the IAMQS Diploma qualification.

Management of Impartiality

WIM ANB understands the importance of impartiality in carrying out its qualification activities, manages conflict of interest and ensures the objectivity of its qualification activities. It shall act impartially in relation to its ATBs, applicants, candidates, qualified and certified persons. The structure, policies and procedures to manage impartiality are documented.
