This 1-day course is intended to provide participants with a typical systematic approach to decide if Welding Repair is practical, viable and safe for their applications, regardless of industry background.
Fundamental of NDT Techniques
- Course Duration : 2 days
Overview:
The non-destructive testing (NDT) is a subject focused on testing of material without its destruction. It is a way how to find out if manufactured product contains any defect or if item was damaged in service. The NDT consists of a full range of methods which may be sorted according their ability to detect defects on service only (surface methods) or also inside the material (volumetric methods). Each method is based on different physical phenomenon. Methods based on well-known and widely utilized phenomes are considered to be regular while these methods based on novel technology development are considered to be advanced. This training covers a basic range of regular methods.
