The IIW is excited to announce that the 73rd IIW Annual Assembly will be held on-line, 15 to 25 July 2020.The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) outbreak a pandemic. We continue to see the global community implementing various protocols and travel restrictions in an effort to effectively address this situation.

Nevertheless, the welding industry and community is continuing its activities, and research, development, fabrication and training activities are moving forward even if through a renovated approach.

The IIW, consistent with its vision to be “the leading global community linking industry, research and education to the advancement of welding and joining for a safer and sustainable world”, is approaching the current scenario with the on-line Annual Assembly.
