What is WIM and its objectives?

Welding Institute (Malaysia) Bhd was established in 2004 to provide a focus for individuals and organizations that are involved in welding, joining, cutting and associated technologies.

WIM's objectives are to provide and improve knowledge on welding and related technologies through newsletters, publication and encourage qualification and continuing professional development through training, seminars and conferences.

WIM's overall aim is to promote new welding, joining and cutting technologies in all areas of the welding industry.

What are the benefits of membership?

• Members receive WIM newsletter four (4) times a year
• Information from TWI and WIM websites
• Discounts on training conducted by TWI Training & Certification (S E Asia) Sdn Bhd
• Certificate of Membership
• Networking with companies and individuals

How do I join WIM and how much does it costs?

Categories of membership are as follows :

Individual Member	Annual Subscription Fee
Fellow (FWIM)	RM 250.00
Member (MWIM)	RM 200.00
Associate (AMWIM)	RM 150.00
Affiliate (AWIM)	RM 100.00
Student (StudWIM)	RM 50.00

One-time Entrance fee is RM 20.00 for all grades of individual members.

Corporate Member's one-time entrance fee and annual subscription fee is RM 550.00 each.
